As someone who has owned everything for 60's Mopar Muscle to my 99 Neon
DOHC, I would rather have a smooth anew Hemi Magnum R/T than the brute
force and no stopping and handling of a 60's Mopar Muscle Car for every day
use. I wouldn't mind buying an old Muscle Car but I get more enjoyment out
of autocrossing my Neon than I ever did drag racing my old Charger. Heck my
Neon runs the 1/4 in 15.4, gets over 30 mpg and can run a turn at 1G with no
internal engine mods. Also stock Neon ACR's (no speed limiter on the PCM)
could do 134 mph top speed. My 2004 Jeep Willys has a good chance of being
traded this fall for an AWD Hemi Magnum R/T. I went to my dealer last night
for the coin. I loved the low cockpit feel of the Magnum. Then again I like
low vehicles better than high riding vehicles anyway.
