Tom is correct - the "Maintenance Required" light (as opposed to the
"Check Engine" light), is something that comes on at a predetermined
mileage interval to get people to go to the dealer for service. (I
don't recall if there is a specific service that is supposed to have
been performed at that time, maybe someone else will know.) anyway,
it is safe to just ignore the light. It wasn't activated by a problem
with the truck.
