these were the $12 autolumination 'matrix' 1157s?

I'm surprised you're not happy with them - judging by what they have on
their website they ought to be good bulbs... I'm still interested in
this angle, so if you don't mind my asking, what aren't you happy
about?

Are they too dim? Too directed and not filling out the fixture?
