As for conduit, i don't think it ever had it. When i changed the
wires at 30k, i don't remember any. If it did, i'm sure i put it
back (i'm very careful about things like that), which would mean the
dealer left it off during this recent trip.

The tsb has yoy run the wires on the throttle body side of the valve
cover, so there are 3 one wire clips.

It would be kind of sloppy (in my 99 at least) to do it w/o the
clips. It would work of course. But, since i paid for the parts, i
want them.

This dealer has been good about big repairs (like rebuilding the
rear end, replacing the steering column, etc) but seems to not do
well with the easy jobs. I guess that's better than the other way
around. :)
