I'm not to the point myself yet where I can claim to
understand, but I *think* its like one of those ratcheting tie
down straps, that one might use to keep a car on a trailer...
The hard part is figuring out where to put the hook, but once
you've got a solid connection, you just work the handle - click
click click - then suddenly its just a part of the trailer, and
will follow the tow vehicle anywhere. :-)
