We could use a vehicle with decent ground clearance (I'd say at
least a foot and a half), disconnect the mufflers, then park it on
top of his tent and rev the engine. The beauty of this method is if
for some reason it doesn't work, we can just leave it parked there
so when he wakes up of his own accord and sits up, he'll dent his
melon on the undercarriage. ;-)
