How about consistently over 140" of snow per winter (average is 123"),
including 2 of the last 4 winters being over 160"?
How about more snowstorms measured in FEET than inches?
Less than 1 hour from where I work, there are towns where they have
recorded FEET of snow falling in a 24 hour period (several times in the
past 3 years), including over 6" per hour for a couple of one-hour periods.
Chicago has jack for snow compared to living in the lake effect off Lake
Erie & Lake Ontario.
