Yeah, you'll prolly have minimal luck with the E-Z-Out at that size...They
fit
in the tee type tap handle & have 4 tangs that extend into the tap
flutes...IF
you can get the tap freed up, the E-Z-Out will turn it out, but they're not
ballsy
enuff to do the freeing-up part...
You might try applying heat to the surrounding surface...it may expand at a
faster rate than the tap's remnants...
Last resort? Burn it out with your torch! (Yeah baybeee!) then glob some
weld
on there, grind it flat & drill & tap!
Later...gotta go install a coupla fireplaces...
