I assume you're looking for something so that you can plug a
standard flat, 4 wire trailer harness into your Dak? If so, I'm
not sure about on-line sources (google search might turn something
up), but Andy's post is correct in that you should be able to find
something locally, if your Dak is not already set up with a trailer
harness. (Check underneath near the back bumper to make sure there
isn't something there already, just tied up out of the way.) (If
all else fails, there is always the dealer, but that's usually a
pricey way to go.) :-)

As far as towing a 500lb trailer off the bumper goes, yes, that
will be fine - the stock bumper is rated up to 2,000lbs, with a max
tongue weight of 200lbs. The main concern with towing off the bumper
though concerns the height of the ball. With a receiver hitch, you
can use different tow bars to raise or lower the ball, but on the
bumper you're stuck with whatever height it is. The concern here
is that you don't want to trailer to ride "nose high"; it should be
level, or if you have to err one way or the other, err to the side of
having it slightly "nose down". A level (or slightly nose down)
trailer will pull much better; if the nose is high, it tends to
wander, and with a small trailer like yours, may even start to "walk"
on you, where the weight shifts from side to side and can actually
start lifting the trailer tires off the pavement. If the trailer
and the hitch ball are misaligned as far as height, the "easy"
solution is to install a receiver hitch, but if that is not an
option, depending on the trailer, it might be possible to modify
or adjust the trailer tongue itself to get everything lined up.
