When you say "hear the TB sucking air like crazy" - do you mean it
sounds like a vacuum leak? Can you describe that any better?
The OEM number *should* be printed or stamped on the sensor. Probably
have to remove it to determine if there is a number on it. A bad TPS
would cause the symptoms you described. When the TB moves the sensor -
and hits a dead spot in the sensor it can cause stumbling/erratic
acceleration.
You can test the sensor with an ohm meter. What you want to look for is
if the voltage "jumps around" as you slowly rotate the sensor through
its range and then back again. A good sensor will steadily rise and
fall as you turn it.
