Thought I would post here on the DML--- been swamped with orders and so forth, but took time to go to Houston Oct 1,2,3-- Drove the 1500 miles from San Diego to Baytown, TX for the 5th annual Dakota RT Club National Meet.
Had a great time-- Car show on Friday, Drags on Saturday, and Auto-X on Sunday.
Netted a new best NA at Houston Raceway Park (even with poor conditions-- Hot and Humid)-- 13.47 @ 102.12 mph (best MPH is still 102.55 locally), new best NA 60' 1.96 sec, new best 1/8th 8.60 @ 81.65 mph--- Placed 1st in Heavy Modified RC (3rd time I've won that class -2000, 2002, and 2004)-- placed 2nd in the Modified RC AUTO-X class. More plaques for the wall.
Will be in Phoenix next weekend for the 6th Annual Truckin Nationals-- hope to keep getting faster NA--- THEN-- when the SoCal/F&B nitrous plate is finished-- give nitrous a go with the new combo-- :^)
