Any problem with changing diff fluid at 143k miles??

Does anyone think I could make more problems by changing my diff fluid at
143k miles?? I've never had any problems, but I've got it all jacked up
with the wheels off going to machine by brakes. So it would be pretty easy
to do it right now. Any recommendations of fluid also?? It is for my 94
V6, auto, 2wd. Thanks...
