You should try to get the other paperwork, yes.
It is possible that when you had the rear-end serviced before that they
didn't use the correct fluid or didn't put in the friction modifier
additive for your LSD unit. Though from what I understand the lack of
friction modifier usually causes noticable noise coming from the rear
end when you make turns and such.
Are you positive that when you had the rear-end serviced before that
they added friction modifier?
