Yes it is the lenses that have cracked but they are glass not plastic.
The strange thing to me is that they have both cracked (give or take) in
damn near the same place on both of them the lines (2 of them) look very
similar.

If there is more current running to the lights with my wiring compared
to the stock setup, then wouldnt they run hotter and be more prone to
cracking?? just guessing here and trying to figure out how i can avoid
having to buy new ones since the previous ones worked fine.

The shop said they were rock chips and there is nothing they can do
about that. However, there is no evidence of a rock chip on either light
(point of impact, cracking pattern, etc.) go figger...
