OK, This is getting weird. Took the 98 to work, and an my lunch break I
went to AZ to get the code pulled. It was P0753 (shift solenoid circuit A).
I had them erase the code, and when I started driving again, everything ran
good & shifted properly. Then I go to McDonalds, shut the truck off & go
in to enjoy a happy meal. When I get back in the truck, first thing after I
start the truck off, damn check engine light comes on, and now she's not
shifting gears.

Sounds like my idea of just setting the truck on fire and watching it go is
gaining more credibility! :)
