I hadn't thought about it that way, but you make an excellent point.
There is probably no chance of this happening ever again (maybe some day
in the distant future, when we shift our obsession to some other form of
transportation...)

Another way for me to put this... I don't want to drive so far that I

I know a lot of nice places to go out here on the "left coast" but I
suspect that would be a bit too much driving for those members coming
from the east. Any other west coast (hell, western half of the U.S.)
members think they'd be interested in making it to an event like this?

I can start collecting the data pretty easily, so let me know if you
want me to do that. Once we have the data stored it will be easy to
manipulate it later.
