Hi,

According to Yahoo:

* The geographical center of the lower 48 states lies outside of Lebanon,
Kansas, in the middle of a hog farm. This is in the middle of nowhwere.
There are a few reservoirs around, but something major should be there as an
attraction. No Major towns even worth mentioning I-80 is 60 mi straight
north and I-70 is 75 mi straight south (as the bird flies) with no main road
going here. Pretty dull.

* The geographical center of all 50 states is located 17 miles west of
Castle Rock, South Dakota. This might be better for those in Canada and
West Coast, but worse for east coast people. It is 40 miles straight North
of Sturgis and 80 miles from Rapid City, all on I-90. There are several
off-road areas here and great scenery (for the wives/girlfriends, etc...).
I've been here twice. There are casinos in Lead / Deadwood that pay pretty
well.

* Denver (Lots of old gold-mining towns to off-road to in the hills).
 - 1000 Miles from Chicago
 - 1265 Miles from San Francisco
 - 1780 Miles from New York
