Don't they still have access to the torque converter bolts.. I've always
unbolted the converter and just left it behind.. I don't recall ever moving
a tranny back.. or having to really come very far forward either. In a Dak
engine bay; I'd remove the radiator anyway.. just as a precaution, but it
seems that would allow adequate clearance.
