Check the ambient temp sensor near the core support (radiator). It's a
small, black, two-wire sensor either near the left or right side of the
radiator (in front of it).

Tonight the overhead computer on my Gen III stopped working. The compass
still works, but the temperature just shows a -- on the display. If I
switch to the other functions it still just shows a -- on the display. Any
ideas?
