josh, you are about as eligible as i am. the recall only covers 2000-2003
4x4 dakotas and durangos.

my 98 and your 2000 4x2 are SOL!

Funny you should post this. My friend Garrett called me last night and told
me that he'd heard a full recall was issued for upper balljoints. I hadn't
had any time to check into it (can't interrupt the social agenda, now can
we?), so thanks for sharing. I wonder if mine would be eligable, as I've
been through a few sets already.

Here's the $64,000 question though: are they going to re-engineer the parts
and then replace them with better parts or will they just replace them with
the same (obviously inferior) parts?
