A few weeks ago the driver's side lock on my 2000 Dakota SLT 4.7 started
making a really horrible noise when the electric locks locked. A couple
weeks after that, the passenger side started making the same noise. It is a
very loud buzzing sound that lasts perhaps 1/4 of a second give or take. It
only happens when they lock, not unlock. Sometimes also, i have to use the
automatic lock to unlock the car. I can't just pull up the lock on the door
manually.
Anyone else ever had this happen?
