And I've always had a problem with wheel slip right out of the hole. Best
time ever was a 14.6x @ 97 but have not been back to the track lately with
the new (upgraded) motor.

Granted...it's still a V6, but with V8 times and V8 power (while still
getting 17-19mpg)...that ain't bad. ;)

Don't forget, Ron's truck is a 4x4 and thus has more rolling resistance.
That may account for some of the difference in time between his and Bernd's
2wd.
