Ram 1500's didn't have a 5-speed with the 5.9, the 2500/3500 had one
available but it was the NV-4500 rather than the NV-3500 (bigger, heavier,
stronger, and lower gearing..wouldn't be too useful in a Dak R/T). I could
have sworn I've heard a number of people talking about blowing up NV-3500's
with the 5.2 (granted I think we're talking drag racing and other severe
use).
