Hi Folks,
By now, most of you probably know that there is an ongoing effort to
put together a national DML meet to commemorate the 10th anniversary
of the DML. It is anticipated that it will be held during the spring
or summer of 2006. The location is also as of yet to be determined - and
that's where you come in!
We will likely go through several rounds of voting, the first of
which is open as of today. The main purpose of this first round of
voting is to gauge general interest in the meet, determine what sorts
of activities folks are interested in, lodging ameneties, and most
importantly, to narrow the location down to a general area. (Later
rounds of voting will narrow the location down further and also lock
down an exact date.)
This first round of voting is open right now and the "polls" will
remain open through the end of February. You have until 2/28 at
11:59pm EST to cast your vote. After the polls close, the results
will be tabulated and published here on the list.
