I have the SilverStars in my Ram, and while I do not think they are
necessarily brighter - they are whiter. The bulbs basically are just a
coated version of normal sylvania bulbs. Less yellow = tricks eye that
its brighter. I do like them and think they are good - but not worth
what they retail for. I doubt I will buy another set when these go out.
I'm going to look for something else then.
Otherwise my usual solution to bad headlights is to throw as many lights
on my truck as I can find places to bolt them to. I already have 4,
100w KC 5x7 Long Range lights on Christine's light bar, and I picked up
some cheap 55W driving lights to mount in the stock fog light locations
and another pair to mount on the front bumper. No Walt' I am not trying
to play copy cat with your Dak :-P
