First a little background info...
Back in late 1996 I bought my first new truck. It was a Black 1996 Base
model Dodge Dakota RC, 5 speed with an inline 4 cyl. When I say base model,
I mean base model, no radio, no AC. I was stationed in Hawaii at the time so
AC was not an issue (around 80 degrees all year long). Fast forward to
October 2001, I sell that Dakota to one of my brothers and I get a new 2002
Dakota RC with the 3.9.
Well my brother lives in Brownsville, Tx. (near South Padre Island) That's
within spittin distance from the Mexican border, and let me tell you, It
gets HOT! He wants to put in an AC system, but doesn't know where to start
looking or what kind of options he has. He mentioned something about an
"Under Dash AC unit" but I havent found anything on that. Any help would be
appreciated.
