No...do NOT use them on the factory intake (or any aluminum intake at that).
Remember, the bolts are only tightened to 12ft.lbs....that's not enough to
hold the engine properly. Either use the bolt holes on the front and rear
of the driver-front and passenger-rear head or take the intake off and lift
from the actual block.

Anyone ever use one of those plates that bolt to the top on an intake
manifold? Summit sells then so people must use them. It just seems like an
awful lot of weight to be supported by a cast aluminum intake...
