The 97 lower baljoints are the same style as your 95 (i.e., greaseable) and are
held to the lower control are with a clip. The uppers are rivited to the
control arm. Replacement uppers use bolts to hold them on.

I wouldn't assume both the uppers and lowers are gone with out checking first.
If the lowers have been greased regularly they will last for 200K miles with no
problems.
