While you guys are talkin' brakes... 92 2WD issue

I have a 1992 Dakota 2WD, and I've never replaced pads without rotors except
once. And that's because a caliper siezed and I just changed the pads out
at the same time. I can only go about a month or two on a set of rotors
before they feel warped. Right now from about 45-50 mph down to right
around 10-15 mph when I hit the brakes I'm getting serious pulsation, it's
kinda slow, but it actually feels like the truck is bouncing up and down
like it's on oblong tires. It only does it under moderate braking, if I
stab them pretty hard, it's smooth. It doesn't feel like I'm getting full
power the whole time because when rolling slow on the brakes, i can feel the
truck intermittedly speed-up (to idle) and slow down while on the brakes
like I'm slowly letting in and out on the peddle.

Any thoughts, I've thought about going with a set of cross-drilled or
slotted rotors when I finally get fed up with these rotors. But after going
through 4-5 sets of rotors in 100K and 5 years, I'm weary of spending the
money and having them warp quickly.
