Val,

Where did you see the 4.7L Dodge TB on Macperformance? (Didn't see it or
missed it on the site)

On the TB size, Fastman has an excellent quality TB that quite a few Dodge
owners are using (Ram/Dakota/Durango). While the Mac TB may be good, I'd
stick with the TB that's proven itself already. 70mm is more than plenty
for the daily driver (without a lot of engine modifications - cams, HO
Intake, and exhaust).

Subject: DML: O/T sort of, TB bore size recommendation

I need advice on what bore size to get on my new T/B for my 4.7. The Fastman
T/B comes in 68mm - 71mm and the MAC Performance T/B comes in 70mm. These
are the two that I am looking at in my price range. What do the DML Gurus
think? I am also ordering a MAC Performance Intake to compliment the new
T/B.

Also, Can I paint the T/B with regular gloss paint, or would I have to use
high temp paint?
