Stupid brakes question.

some basic qusetions, sorry. ;-)

1st: In the Gen II daks with 2wd, there is the "tee" thingy between the brakes in
the rear. the left rear brake line connects to one side of this "tee" and the right rear
brake line connects to the other side of this "tee".

whats this "tee" called?

2nd: this "tee" seems to be controlled by a "actuator" or something mounted in the
frame rail on driver side. whats the name of "actuator" unit in the frame rail?
