ABS codes will turn on the ABS Warning Indicator. The ABS system uses its
own codes.

Electronic problem, that much is for certain. ABS problems won't set a MIL.
A blown line with loss of pressure - will set the lights, check brake fluid
level anyway - to rule out loss of fluid.
There is a procedure for pulling ABS codes out of the ABS module in my
1989 FSM, which would be applicable up to 96 I believe, but for Gen IIIs
(97-04) I havn't a clue. Something like that I would take the truck into a
trusted service shop for.
