I can tell you from experience that the stock 5-speed will have "issues" with a
360.
I swapped a 360 into my old '99 318 truck. It would work fine as long as you
were moving, but wouldn't want to shift into any gear when stopped.
I can help you out with any questions you have as far as what parts you need,
etc... but if you're serious about this swap, you need to look for a stronger
trans.
