Make sure you let us know how it goes. Good luck with it, that can be very
frustrating but I am sure you will figure it out soon.

Well I am going to check the plugs and wires again to make sure they are in
correctly, I also bought a new coil but did not install it, will do that
too. I will also do a fuel filter as she is due for one anyway. If there
is still no improvement it is off to an Autozone to have it scanned and
hopefully shed some light on the situation. I am not upset about spending
the money to get the exhaust done. The cat had been going bad for like 3
years and I never got it fixed and I always wanted a cat back system. I am
upset that I cannot deduce what is going on as I am usually pretty good at
troubleshoting these things.

Thanks for listening guys!

-Don't go throughing any more parts at it until you get a scanner
-on it and see
-what codes might be there. The other thing that's easy to do is
-get a pressure
-gauge on the fuel rail and watch the fuel pressure as you drive.
-If the pump is
-going out or there is a clog in the system the fuel pressure will
-drop as the
-load on the engine increases.
