my anecdotal evidence backs this up. I didn't see a significant change
in ACTUAL mileage (if you don't correct your speedo for your oversized
tires and post up inaccurate milage numbers that nothing but a
disservice) from my 35s to the 38s to the 39.5s. The only explaination
for this in my mind is that the 35s were incredibly heavy for their size
on the humvee rims - 108# each, and the 38x12.5-16.5 SX and 39.5x13.5r17
on steel rims are both 120#. My highway milage has dropped a bit from
mid 13s to high 11s and in town milage has stayed the same at 11-12.

anybody have and 4.88s for my junk? =)
