Finally got on the highway after 5 pm Sunday - much much later than I
ever wanted to leave. We didn't get into Dan's house until almost 5
am... after many power naps and lots of loud rock and caffine
beverages. Got 5 hours sleep.... stopped by to see my uncle in Chicago,
and I just got home tonight at about 5 pm. Wander lust is out of my
system for a very long time.
I'll have statistical info on the trip soon.
Pratical jokes not withstanding, it was a pretty good year, and a
completion of the last of my BBQ goals. I made it through The Pit last
year and I got up the lower water fall twice this year. A good way to
wrap up my tenure at the BBQ heh.
My thanks to Jon and his parents for their putting up with us once more.

It was great seeing everyone again and meeting some new people. Dan
asked me to pass on his thanks to Jon and his family and to tell
everyone that he had a great time. Hes thinking about coming with me to
the Denver meet as well.
I doubt I will be able to make Daktoberfest this fall - as I have LOTS
of debt to pay off now, plus classes to attend.
After towing Christine out with the Ram, I have to reconsider the Denver
Meet. I would still like to attend, but I'm kinda sorta thinking I
won't drive.
Time to unpack and get ready for real life again :-(
