No offense taken. But I think you will find that my experience is not
untypical. Between cell phones, thumping stereos and lack of driving experience
I am surprised that more kids don't have fender benders in that first year.

My oldest is not into cars at all and the last place his mind is when he's
behind the wheel is paying attention to the road. Good kid but he just hasn't
developed what I would call good driving habits. I have been in cars with
40+ers and have been scared S#$^less by their lack of driving skills.
