Anyone interested in attending the DML National Meet in Colorado, July
15-23, 2006:
If you want to be in the DML HQ group area, THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!
Otherwise, you'll be happy to know that I'll be shutting up about it soon.
This is your daily reminder that you need to get your reservations ASAP.
If you want to camp in the group area, let me know. There are only 7
spots available here, and I will select 7 names through a random draw. I
will be taking names through midnight tonight (EST), and will do the draw
tomorrow (if necessary).
For reference, as of right now the following people have asked to be
included in the draw for the group area:
- Bill Pitz
- Josh Battles
- Mike Burgess
- Mike Maskalans
- Rich Werning
- Walt Felix
That's only six people for seven spots so far. If nobody else replies,
these guys will get their spots and the last one will go up for grabs.
If you want to make a reservation outside the group area (either just in
case you don't make it in to that area, or if you don't mind sleeping
outside the group area), then you will need to call Lone Duck Campground
directly and make a reservation. Their toll-free number is
1-800-776-5925. Identify yourself as a member of the Dakota Mailing List.
IMPORTANT: tell them that you are *not* reserving a spot in the group
cul-de-sac, but you want a separate site nearby. They allow reservations
to be cancelled without penalty up to two weeks prior to your arrival
date, so I suggest getting one just in case.
If you make your own reservation, could I ask you to drop me a note to let
me know? I'm going to try to keep track of how many spots we have
reserved as a group. I am not going to be making any reservations other
than the 10 in the group area (3 of which are spoken for).
