Finally getting around to posting this. I traded the Dak in Monday
night for a 2003 Subaru Outback Wagon Limited. Fuel prices and my
long commute to work just weren't agreeing with the truck. This isn't
the car I emailed some of you off-list about. It's amazing how many
little creature comforts this thing has that the Dak didn't even dream
about, and their original MSRPs were similar.
At the same time, the Acclaim was retired, donated to the Salvation
Army. Not sure where it'll go, I'm hoping they'll give it to someone
displaced by Katrina, It's not a terrific car, but if it gets someone
to a job for a few months, it's better than no car at all.
