I'm not sure, but that's a good point. My '90 Dakota has the 8.25",
but its a V6, it is possible that maybe the I4 got the 7.25". The
7.25" may live behind that motor, it depends on how it is driven. :-)
Its not a bad idea to look into an upgrade though, especially since
it sounds like the trans is going to be a manual.
