You're right, no need to stay out of od for that...I thought you had the
whole car. You'd be surprised at how many folks would tow something like a
whole car and complain about how sluggish the truck is in 5th (or od). :)
That's not the case here though. Sorry for the mix up.

Um I wasn't towing it, it was just and engine not a whole car, and it was
only around 500 pounds. With the 318 that isn't even making her break a
sweat. Heck in winter I usually have almost 300 pounds of sand in the back.
I just don't see needing to stay out of OD for something like that.
