Bob, I bought a program called "Qurb"..it makes a white list and stops
EVERYTHING that I do not want. www.qurb.com

Sorry I cannot help with the Eudora, but thought I would offer that up.

Subject: DML: OT Eudora filters

Hey all,

Thought I would send this first to the main list to see
how many responses I would get. If there are enough
knowledgeable with creating Eudora filters then
I would take it to the OffTopic list.

I'm just starting to create filters which would divert
SPAM to a created SPAM mailbox. I can honestly
say that I have very little clue about what I'm doing.

My filter format is generally the following :
   rule
   transfer
   label
   stop
   incoming
   manual
   header
   verb
   value
   conjunction
   header
   verb
   value

Case in point, some of Andy's replies on the thread,
Re: DML: Daktoberfest Roll Call are getting re-directed
to the SPAM box and some are being passed through
to the IN box. So far, I haven't been able to spot anything
in my filters as to why some are re-directed and some are not.

Overall with regards to all e-mails that I receive, I would say
that my filters are working at about 50 or so percent :-(

Has anybody on the list been writing "successful" filters
(95% success rate) or know of a site which gives a comprehensive
explanation about how to do them?

Thanks,
Bob
