This is something I forgot to put in my post earlier today. I have
heard Great Things about the Holly offroad Carbs. One of the truck
avenger carbs with an edelbrock intake will work prtty nicve on a Magnum
engine. This is not a passing consideration because it will make the
swap much more simplistic. I can use my existing fuel tank and pump,
won't need an ECM, and I could use something like a universal Painless
harness for my accessories and lights.

The reasons I would want fuel injecton are obvious however... better
throttle response and it wouldn't matter what angle the truck was at.
However I don't think Christine would be in a severe enough situation
where even the Holly offroad carbs would starve themselves. I've
researched them and they are pretty well thought out.

Yeah I have the 8.25 rear. I'm more worried about the front axle than I
am the rear. I know I already have ground up the side and spiders in
there. And I don't remember what radio the cogs are - but I know they
are highway ratios.

LOL yeah - thats an understatement. I'm starting to freak out.

You may regret that offer man! LOL I just might take you up on it! :D

  Thanks!

(back to work I go)
