Dunno about better calipers but as SOON as you mentioned a fried passenger
caliper, Bob,(Daksy), and I both had that problem and we both had to replace
our brake booster, that is what fried our passenger rotor.....

Subject: DML: Caliper Upgrade for GenIII?

I need to replace the pads and probably the rotors. I know from the last
pad change that there's some heat damage to the passenger caliper, so
I'd like to change it out.

I spent some time searching for improved calipers for the Dakota's, but
I didn't find anything that was a) reasonable, b) fit in the 15" wheels
(winter tires) and c) weren't aluminum (winter again).

Does anyone have suggestions for improved calipers?

Rob S.
