I would guess that the cheapo fuel sock is starting to clog up in your fuel
tank.

Subject: DML: Hard starting

I have 99` Dakota clubcab, 4x4, 318 CID w/ auto-magic transmission, that use

to fire to life after only 3-4 cranks, but now it cranks 10-12 times unless
I turn the ignition on/off a couple of times to run the fuel pump.
Apparently it is not holding line pressure to the injectors. Is this a fuel

regulator (which is part of the fuel pump as I understand) issue or is there

a check valve of some type in the fuel line? I live in North Dakota where
it is suppose to be around 0`F for low temps this week & I'm hoping the
auto-start works, I don't want to be putting in a new fuel pump till spring
if possiable.

Does anyone have any other insight that I'm overlooking?
Sandman
