Dan, when I had a similar fitting on my Dakota leaking at about the
same time I did my axle swap, I just got rid of the short hard line and
replaced it with NPT adaptors and elbows and a nipple and a couple tiny
hose clamps from a hardware store. Cost me about $5 in parts....
