Hey, its our list so since we all drive Dodge's, what the heck, we talk
about what we want...today's topic, "blowing a bunch of dough on a
wedding"...the good and the bad. I say we talk about what we want till
someone objects. Hey, we are all friends, and friends talk about
"stuff"...just my two cents and it isn't worth that even.

I see it as a whole financial transference thing...
The kind and generous parents (like Rick there) pay for the weddings, and
invite all these friends and relatives to party it up for one night. Then
all those friends and relatives don't know what to buy the newlyweds o they
just stuff some cash in an envelope. So basically by the next day, the
parents are out 20 grand, and the newlyweds have about the same in cash and
assorted prizes, err... i mean gifts.
And ll those guests got to have an adequate meal, and get hammered drunk.
(I actually want GOOD food at my wedding, but lobster is probably out...)

That has always bothered me, the food at probably 95% of the weddings i've
attended has been exactly the same. Maybe it's a regional thing, but i
dunno...
It's always been roasted chicken and/or roast beef with gravy, and some
mixed veggies. If you're lucky, they have penne in meat sauce.
How VERY exciting....

I want a multicultural arrangement, some Indian samosas, and sushi for
appetizers. Main course i haven't thought about, but it sure won't be roast

beef.

This is getting way off topic, but to bring it back to something Dodge
related, i'm going to look for a 2500 Ram this spring and hopefully trade in

the XJ on it.

Two words, figure it out.....
