Sorry if I seem to question you... but keep in mind I don't know the
subtle differences in Neons, that I know about our Dakotas.

I have trouble with easy things... I find easy things usually are not
easy. I know what can happen when these little monster garage projects
get started when you decide to install parts that were not originally
meant for the application you want to put them in... so I'm asking
questions LOL

Are you POSITIVE that the engines are straight drop ins? Any problems
with intakes, fuel pressure, mounts etc? The salvage yard interchanges
seem to have the dividing line between 1999 and 2000. I have found low
milage engines for about $600 - which seems really good to me. But I
don't want to get a 2000+ engine and find out there are complications,
halfway into the install.

I'll hit Neons.org again and see if I can get any more info.
