Modding a V6 isn't that bad, I've got a stock TB on mine with tuning, CAI,
exhaust, clutch fan removed, 180 stat, trimmed intake runners, and a kit in
the trans. I still run a high 16 though, a Tib runs in the low 16's. You
should be a little quicker since I'm a CC and always run in full street trim.
An exhaust and a superchips tuner would really wake your motor up, for under
$500 if you search for the best prices. The stock PCM isn't really that
performance minded.
