   Yep, and IIRC, the 4.7 engines don't run very well on platinum
plugs, from what I have heard. Back when Jon Smith was on the DML,
he did a spark plug test and found that the Autolites were good for
about 5hp, but the catch was that they seem to wear out faster so
you need to replace them more often to keep that edge. My memory is
a bit fuzzy, but I think that's correct. I've had a set of Champion
(Gold?) Truck plugs in my '96 318 for the past, I dunno, 30-40K miles
I guess and it still runs strong. I don't have the time anymore to
constantly fiddle with it to eek out every last bit of HP. :-)
